This blog was inspired by the diversity of nature that exists within just a few square miles in the Rocklin CA area. All images, video, and audio clips were made within this location (unless otherwise indicated). Call it an exercise for the writer/reader to "stop and smell the roses" and observe that around us which often goes unseen. Hopefully in the gaining a greater appreciation of the natural world we can learn how we are connected to it and how to protect it.
